We are interested in the standardization of the THC (and other cannabinoid) content in edibles, processed oils and hash, as well as marijuana. Standardizing the methods and assays used takes the variability and guess work of sample results. Eventually when the state or federal government takes control of MMJ, this will be mandatory. The EPA tests for environmental hazards with specific methods that have been standardized and validated. Results not following the exact method are discredited. All results should be obtained by the same method, then the results are relative and may be compared directly. How do you feel about standardizing THC testing, esp. for edibles?
